New York Midtown – Boutique Hotel Entrance

A 42-room boutique hotel in Manhattan’s Garment District required an entrance that would create a distinctive arrival experience while meeting NYC Department of Buildings fire and egress requirements.
Design Brief
The hotel’s interior design concept drew from 1920s Art Deco influences. KINGSHIELD developed a custom door with geometric bronze inlay patterns, fluted glass sidelights, and period-appropriate brass hardware.
Compliance
The entrance assembly achieved NYC DOB approval with 90-minute fire rating and ADA-compliant automatic opener integration.
