An architecturally ambitious hillside residence in Bel Air required an entrance door that would follow the curved geometry of the building’s facade—a challenge that demanded fully custom engineering.
Technical Solution
KINGSHIELD’s engineering team developed a curved steel door leaf with 2.5m radius, integrated into a matching curved frame system. The 85mm thick door achieves RC3 certification with custom-curved multi-point locking hardware.
Finish
Matte black powder coat with bronze accent hardware complements the building’s corten steel cladding.
